A day out at Imber, by vintage bus, bike, or car, is a special day. More than 80 years since the village had to be evacuated to allow for World War II training the public are still fascinated by its past, future, and its use in our defence. Please note that access is now denied except for a few open days each year, and at all times inside the buildings except for St Giles Church, these photographs were taken by the editor of Imber, org.uk before the safety restriction, but there's plenty to see from the road on an open day.
